This is good as it allows users to understand the tone of the typing, similar to how you can judge a person’s voice while talking.

Both of these programs allow their users to access a list of free emoticons that are standard to everyone on their site. However, it is possible to download more emoticons for free on the internet. There are many sites that offer emoticons in various styles and formats. The most common emoticons are yellow in color and come with standard faces using black to show the mouth and eyes.

As the internet improves so do emoticons. You are no able to get emoticons in a wide range of colors, more emotions, and even some that come animated. Simply do a Google search and you can find a wide range of free emoticons that you can download.
